What is wellness and healing? These can be pretty vague concepts, especially to those who are just starting out and exploring what that could possibly mean for them.

There are, of course, the basics of health, wellness, and even healing. Eat right, move your body, nourish yourself spiritually, begin to accept responsibility for your life.

Hmmm, still pretty vague. Let’s take Eat Right. Great concept, but what does it mean? Does it mean throwing out all your cooking utensils and becoming a raw foodist vegan? Or does it mean cooking all your veggies the macrobiotic way? Perhaps High Protein, the Paleo way…”more fat and animal products, please”. Or maybe it is about finding out what blood type you are and following that. So many choices, and everyone has a different opinion.

The reason for this is that not everything works well for all people, so it is important to find, try, explore and discover what works for you. This may be what works for a moment in your life and that may switch a few months or years down the road.

The only true constant in life is change, and if you are really evolving and moving along your path there will be change in your life and that also means in your diet. Change is inevitable, growth is optional.

There are many options. No option is right or wrong, simply the option that is right for you in a particular moment in time. This is limitless freedom. My advice, assess where you are. Begin with a few tweaks to your diet and see how you feel. These questions can also be addressed during a session, to see what is the highest and best for you in regards to nutrition.
